刘宇，副教授，吉林省长春市，1981年6月出生

学习及工作经历：

2000/09-2004/07，吉林大学，汽车工程学院车辆工程系，学士

2007/09-2011/12，  吉林大学，汽车工程学院内燃机系，博士

2008/09-2010/09，  美国伊利诺伊大学厄本那香槟分校，博士

2012/12-至今       吉林大学汽车学院内燃机系， 副教授

2000年至2011年就读于吉林大学汽车工程学院，获得本科、硕士和博士学位。现就职于吉林大学汽车学院内燃机系，任职副教授。长期从事乘用车发动机性能开发、排气污染物控制等试验工作。

博士学习期间一直从事汽车发动机缸内过程可视化研究工作，对发动机工作过程的基础理论研究和先进的光学测试方法具有十分浓厚的兴趣和较强的专业能力。2008年至2010年获得国家留学基金委资助项目赴美国伊利诺伊大学厄本那香槟分校（UIUC）深造，师从Chia-fon Lee教授。测试开发可视化激光测量平台可实现燃烧边界条件自动控制，最大限度模拟自然进气、增压、EGR等不同缸内环境，实现燃料喷雾混和、着火燃烧和微粒生成全过程的时间和空间同步采集与联合分析。

作为项目负责人先后承担了国家自然科学基金青年基金、863及企业联合项目等多项科研课题，2016年荣获吉林大学“十二五”科技工作突出贡献奖。发表SCI、EI等学术论文10余篇。
