Main Research Interests & Contents

1. Trajectory Planning and Tracking for Intelligent Vehicles

Trajectory tracking control based on kinematic models; active steering control based on dynamic models; design of model predictive control (MPC)-based path planning and trajectory tracking controllers; model predictive control for high-speed vehicles considering rollover risk; research on chassis coordinated control strategies taking suspension roll characteristics into account.

2. Vehicle Dynamics Modeling and Fatigue Analysis of Key Components

Finite element-based modeling, stiffness and strength analysis of key components; vehicle system modeling and load spectrum extraction using multi-body dynamics; finite element-based fatigue analysis for critical automotive components.
