Professor Xu Nan, PhD Supervisor

Vice Chairman of China Professional Alliance for Automotive Energy Efficiency Development, Testing and Certification; Director of National Big Data Alliance for New Energy Vehicles; Senior Member of Society of Automotive Engineers of China; Product Access Expert of Equipment Industry Development Center, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology; Expert in National Expert Database for Postgraduate Education Evaluation and Monitoring; Editorial Board Member of Automotive Manufacturing; Youth Editorial Board Member of Journal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering, Automotive Abstracts and Chinese Journal of Automotive Engineering. He currently serves as a peer reviewer for international journals including Applied Energy, Energy, IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics and SAE Journal. As the principal investigator, he has presided over General Program and Youth Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China, General Program of China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, Science and Technology Development Program of Jilin Province, and multiple enterprise cooperative research projects.

He is recognized as High-Level Talent of Jilin Province. His honors include National Award for Outstanding PhD Candidates granted by Ministry of Education, Third Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress of China Automotive Industry. He was selected into the International Clean Energy Top-notch Innovative Talent Training Program (iCET2019) sponsored by China Scholarship Council, Elite Phase of Lixin Outstanding Young Faculty Development Program of Jilin University, Key Cultivation Program for Outstanding Young Teachers of Jilin University, etc. He has won Excellent Award for Undergraduate Classroom Teaching Quality of Jilin University, Excellent Supervisor for Doctoral Dissertations & Excellent Supervisor for Master’s Dissertations of Jilin University, First Prize in Young Teachers’ Teaching Plan Competition of Jilin University, Advanced Individual in Scientific Research and Advanced Individual in Teaching Work from College of Automotive Engineering, Jilin University. He once acted as supervisor for national-level projects of National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program for College Students, and undergraduate academic tutor at College of Automotive Engineering, Jilin University.
