Discipline and Talent Affairs Office
I. Job Responsibilities
(1) Discipline Development Planning and Construction
Organize the formulation of medium and long-term discipline development plans and annual work plans, and advance the work related to the 15th Five-Year Development Plan.
Promote the construction of Double First-Class Initiative, engineering discipline clusters and interdisciplinary disciplines.
Formulate and revise rules and measures for discipline construction management.
(2) Discipline and Degree Program Evaluation
Prepare for and coordinate reviews of disciplines at all levels.
Undertake the application and development of graduate degree authorization programs.
Carry out performance evaluation of discipline construction and summary assessment of degree authorization programs.
(3) Overall Arrangement of Discipline Resources
Manage and allocate funds for discipline development and talent work in a unified manner.
(4) Management and Services for High-Level Talents
Take charge of the recruitment, training, assessment and daily services for high-level talents.
Organize applications for talent programs at all levels.
Manage the appointment, recruitment and performance assessment of talents under the Tang Aoqing Scholar Program.
Coordinate fund management and benefit guarantee for high-level talents.
Arrange physical examinations and provide humanistic care for high-level talents.
(5) Postdoctoral Management
Be responsible for the recruitment, administration and exit assessment of all types of postdoctoral researchers, including project-funded postdocs, Dingxin Scholars and off-plan postdocs.
Conduct evaluations of postdoctoral workstations.
(6) Other Duties
Complete other tasks assigned by superior authorities and school leadership.
