国家“千人计划”特聘教授、博导

邓伟文博士系吉林大学国家“千人计划”特聘教授、博士生导师,吉林大学汽车研究院常务副院长。之前为美国通用汽车公司全球科研与发展中心主任研究员。
邓伟文博士自1996年进入美国通用汽车公司研发中心,长期从事车辆动力学及控制、汽车智能辅助驾驶、模拟与仿真、电动汽车电控与能量管理系统等方面的科研工作。
拥有美国发明专利24项,正在申请待批的美国专利14项、中国专利8项。先后3次获美国通用汽车公司研发中心以“Charles McCuen”命名的最高科研奖,2次获美国通用
汽车公司最高科技发明创造奖: “Boss” Kettering Award。2010年曾短暂任职于香港汽车零部件研发中心代理技术总监,从事智能交通和汽车电控等系统研发与管理。
现兼任《国际车辆自主操作系统杂志》主编 (International Journal of Vehicle Autonomous Systems),《国际车辆设计杂志》副主编 (International Journal of Vehicle Design),
以及《IEEE运载工具技术汇刊》副主编 (IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology)。应邀担任2010、2012和2014年IEEE国际运载工具技术年会 (IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference)
交通分会主席,2011年第二届中美工程前沿研讨会 “先进车辆与移动性”分会主席和2012年FISITA世界汽车工程年会“底盘系统与集成技术”专业分会主席。
主要学术兴趣与研究方向:汽车电子控制与集成控制理论、模拟与仿真、轨迹规划与智能决策,以及基于人性化和个性化的汽车智能驾驶等。
